Ch. Cherden Sock It To 'Em CD, ROM, ROMC and Ch. Cherden Power Sequent

Welcome to the Cherden site, created by Dana Quinney of Clan Duncan. The site features current studs and bitches, upcoming stock, Sheltie artwork you can own, educational articles, historical pictures, and seminar information. As the site grows, it will eventually offer book features.Cherden's home on the internet has been designed to express my philosphy of breeding classic Shelties that fit the Standard and are both mentally and physically functional in all venues.

Happy Indian Summer.

The dogs are bred to strict guidelines using proven genetic principles coupled with testing in a concisely planned breeding program of over 35 years duration and success. I hope you will enjoy seeing the results of this program and perhaps gaining new ideas from this site.

We are proud of our yearling fellow, Galen, Clan Duncan Cherden Equinox, who took his first win this summer, capably handled by Barbara Vann . Co-owned and co-bred with Clan Duncan, Galen is sired by Cherden Thunder Run. Galen is 626 x Pow, and sports a pedigree combining the Pow tail male with the rare tail female line going straight to the great Timberidge Crown Jewel through Pow's dam. Galen is bi-factored, non-white factored, has full dentition and is overall our kind of guy. Galen will be with us until some time later in the autumn, when he will return to Clan Duncan to grow his first adult coat "in the refrigerator."

We have puppies this fall.

We have two promising little JJ daughters growing up here this fall, and another breeding or two are in the works.

Happy autumn!
